Welcome, as a vendor, to the 27th Annual Louisiana Country Colorfest.  Below is the check in information for vendor set up.  Please read it carefully.  All information is also posted on our website www.louisianacolorfest.com as well as information from the Pike County Health department for food vendor requirements.  If you have any questions that cannot wait until check in time please contact us via email at louisianacolorfest@gmail.com or call the Louisiana Chamber of Commerce 888.642.3800

If you have requested electricity your cables must meet requirements and code.  They cannot be ‘light duty’ nor ‘indoor’ use cords.  Our electrician(s) will perform ALL hookups.  You will receive information regarding Electrical requirements at check in.

Food vendors you must have a trailer or tent.  Also, you will receive the Temp. Food Permit application to fill out and return for your permit before you can set up.  All food permit fees must be paid to the Colorfest Committee unless you have a permanent Pike County Food Permit.  We remit the fees to the County.  The County Health Inspector will inspect food booths Saturday morning.

Check in this year will be handled in two locations.  One is for vendors that vend from a trailer and the other is for vendors that do not.  Trailer vending booths will be checked in FIRST so that they can locate on the street more easily.  All trailers must be set and vehicles immediately removed so that others can get to their locations.  NO OTHER TRAILERS ARE TO PARK IN THE FESTIVAL AREA!  ALL ‘STORAGE’ TRAILERS MUST BE REMOVED.

 

DO NOT PARK ON GEORGIA STREET TO AWAIT CHECK IN!  DO NOT PARK ON 4TH STREET TO AWAIT CHECK IN!  YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO TOW!

Check in for vendors that do not sell from within their trailer will have check in October 14th, beginning NO EARLIER THAN 6:00 p.m. at the corner of South Carolina and 4th Street.  DO NOT PARK ON 4TH STREET BETWEEN SOUTH CAROLINA AND GEORGIA STREET!  Check in will run for 2 hours (until 8:00 p.m.).  If you cannot make this time frame you must make prior arrangements with us.

            We have determined that you are a vendor that does not utilize a trailer in the selling of your product.  If this is incorrect you must notify us immediately so that we can send you check in information appropriate to your status.  No one vending from a trailer will be checked in at this location!
